A memorable debut for Hasan Nawaz as Pakistan win their 3rd white-ball game on this tour. 2 more games to go in the ODI series, and the West Indies will be desperate to improve their scoreline. It is a 9:30 am start for the next two. Do remember to tune in for the second one on Sunday. Until then, cheers and goodbye!!

Mohammad Rizwan | Pakistan skipper: Hasan Nawaz and Talat deserve all the credit. The conditions weren't easy, but to have that partnership coming in at 7, want to give a lot of credit to Hussain Talat. We want to improve a bit on our bowling, the ball was gripping in the first half and towards the end we gave a few too many runs I feel. Bowlers are happy because they feel it (having a single ball after the 34th over) can reverse and the feeling was different among the bowling group.

Shai Hope | West Indies skipper: It's a tough one, toss definitely has a big factor to play. Maybe we could have got a few more runs to put them under pressure. The surface has been way different in the night, in the first innings it was a lot slower and challenging. We need to have a bit more cushion (total with the bat) in such conditions. It was very, very wet in the second innings, especially for the spinners it was difficult to grip. We need to look at our mistakes and comeback strong in the next 2 games.

Hasan Nawaz | Player of the Match: Feeling really blessed to play this knock on my debut. The plan was to build a partnership and the spinners were getting the ball to grip initially which is why we didn't take our chances. The plan was that Talat can target spin and I can handle pace and the plan worked well for us.

22:24 local, 02:24 GMT, 07:54 IST: A comfortable chase this for Pakistan. Saim Ayub was the only batter who failed to get a start. The rest played their part in stitching crucial partnerships and never allowed the pressure of required rate get to them. While Babar Azam missed out on a fifty, Rizwan lost his rhythm after compiling his fifty and fell in the 38th over. Pakistan needed around 100 off the last 12 overs, and the pair of Hasan Nawaz (on his debut) and Talat (playing his first ODI after 2019) showed great maturity to take the game deep and finish the game with an over to spare. Hasan Nawaz, in particular, was very impressive with his shot-selection. He took his time at the start and then got timely boundaries to keep the asking rate in check. West Indian bowlers were good in patches, but strugggled for consistency throughout. They might feel they were 20-30 runs short though. Let's see what the captains have to say at the presentations...
